PROJECT OVERVIEW
McDonald’s Knitmas Greetings campaign targeted 2014 Christmas season. This adaptive web site lets users create a personalised stocking. Then, the users can share their stockings via social networks and if they are lucky, they could win a hand knitted stocking.
Initially, the client wanted to have a lot more features than the final output. However, we have learnings from the past campaigns; campaigns cannot have any complexity on its surface. Thus, we, the project team, insisted and persuaded the client to loose any layers of complexity and made whole customising process one click by adding a shuffle button, yet users still be able to edit their stocking if they want to.
